The North Wales Wings region of the Gold Wing Owner's Club of Great Britain was founded around August 1981. 'Wingers' are owner’s and riders of a Honda GoldWing – the best touring bike in the world – ranging from 1000cc,1100cc,1200cc,1500cc and 1800cc. solos, trikes and side-car outfits. We meet up regularly in Betws-y-Coed- the heart of biking country in North Wales and ride in the hills and valleys of beautiful North Wales and beyond as we join other regions in their activities and events. We also take part in parades and displays as we raise money for charity. Our nominated regional charity is Wales Air Ambulance. North Wales Wings is a region of The GoldWing Owner’s Club of Great Britain and as a member you can attend any event organised in any of the regions such as camping weekends, B&B and Hotel based events, one-day events and much more. In addition to activities organised by the thirty-three GWOCGB regions throughout the UK, there is a lot going on that you can take part in as part of the wider Gold Wing and biking scene.You can also make new friends across Europe by travelling to one or more of the many International Treffens held each year. (See Gallery) GWOCGB is affiliated to the Gold Wing European Federation (GWEF), Motorcycle Action Group (MAG), British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF) and the National Association for Bikers with Disabilities (NABD). As well as displays at major bike shows, GWOCGB has a growing Classic Bike section which displays at Classic Bike Shows. You may have just purchased your GoldWing or may be hoping to buy a Gold Wing one day. In any case,come along and meet this friendly bunch who will be able to answer your questions and give you lots of information.
